The FoodBowl in collaboration with Food Processing Specialists would like to offer the following courses on Monday 4th - Friday 8th May 2020:

New Zealand Retort Supervisors and Process Control School Course

The Retort Supervisor and Process Control School is designed to provide attendees with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively operate and supervise the retort operations. Attendees will also gain an overview and insight into the responsibilities and requirements for food manufacturers processing pouches, metal and plastic cans, glass and semi-rigid containers for commercial sale.

The course includes practical training on the operation of retorts and the packaging relevant to the attendees’ manufacturing site.

Successful attendees will be permitted to supervise retorting operations and operate retorts at their site without supervision in accordance with MPI regulations.

4.5 day course, NZ$3,000+GST

Retort Operators Course

The Retort Operators Course is designed to provide attendees with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively operate a retort. Attendees will also gain an overview and insight into the responsibilities and requirements for food manufacturers.

This course will be run in conjunction with the Retort Supervisors and Process Control course. Successful attendees will be permitted to operate retorts at their site under supervision in accordance with MPI regulations.

2 day course, NZ$1,500+GST
