This pilot-scale food product development facility offers you the opportunity to tap into the University of Otago’s multidisciplinary research expertise, food science, and product development capabilities.

Develop prototypes and evaluate them for health benefits, sensory properties and marketability. Or trial new processing technologies such as high-pressure homogenizers to change the structure of foods or pulsed electric-field processing to release bioactive ingredients and flavours.
