This workshop provides an introduction to Extrusion formulation and processing by representatives from Clextral, TheFoodBowl and Massey University. The workshop will include a short demo on The FoodBowl Clextral machine.
Facilitated by Clextral, the leading extrusion company in France, the workshop is ideal for food processors and start-ups considering entering this rapidly growing field who need an introduction to the technology together with an understanding of the pathways to commercialisation available in New Zealand.
The FoodBowl is planning a more extensive 3-day extrusion workshop later in the year suitable for persons needing to gain a more in-depth technical knowledge of high moisture extrusion.
