Location: FoodBowl
Timing: 2-days; 8:30AM-4:30PM

The course will cover:

  • Water activity in products
  • Basics of drying theory
  • Different types of drying systems
  • Principles of psychrometrics and heat & mass balance techniques using practical examples
  • Advanced drying concepts
  • Drying curves
  • Quality issues in dried products
  • Improvement of existing drying processes can be improved
  • Case studies of different drying technologies

The course is run in person at FoodBowl by Dennis Forte and Associates of Australia.
